When it comes to insurance, there are obviously a lot of things that you must consider. For most people, they just want to get their vehicle insured as cheaply as possible and seldom look into what their policy covers and most importantly, what it doesn’t.

When seeking insurance, especially younger drivers, they decide to choose providers from specialist magazines or those who are advertised in newspapers etc in the hope of first getting insurance on their prized vehicle and secondly, getting it as cheap as possible.

By choosing an insurance firm who are not reputable, you’re putting yourself at risk from insurance fraud and scams. Time and time again we hear stories of insurance companies not paying out if there has been some damage to your car over a third party – despite significant premiums being paid by the policy holder.

This is one of the most common insurance scams out there and unfortunately, there is very little protection against it. When it comes to car insurance, the cheapest is definitely not always the best and it really does pay to watch out for insurance scams when not using a particularly reputable company to insure your motor vehicle.
